Selesa Pacific Hospital was established in 1995 by a group of local doctors as the first private hospital in Miri, pioneering in elevating Specialist private healthcare in the Northern region of Sarawak.
Our story
30 years of trusted care
Selesa Pacific Hospital was established in 1995 by a group of local doctors as the first private hospital in Miri, pioneering in elevating Specialist private healthcare in the Northern region of Sarawak.
In 1997, we became the first hospital in Malaysia to be involved in a regional healthcare network, joining the U.S.-based Columbia Pacific Group under the Columbia Asia brand. This marked the beginning of our role in a network that grew from us to over 28 hospitals and clinics across Asia, known for delivering quality and affordable care.
On 1st November 2024, we entered a new chapter under the Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) Group, proudly returning to our Sarawakian roots and continuing our mission as Selesa Pacific Hospital — delivering trusted and compassionate care to the Miri community for over 30 years.
